Polar Bear Game Time!

Saturday, 8 November 2008 20:52 by Tamara

Watch out NASCAR... There's a new sport in town.

Polar Bear Racing created by the man behind the curtain is an awesome race game. You are the red highlighted polar bear set out to race the blue and green highlighted ones. The difficult (and fun) part of polar bear racing is that you have to avoid the ice and stay in the middle of the ocean otherwise you get caught up and slow down! You'll need some time before you can master polar bear racing. So exciting! So go play, I dare you!

Play Polar Bear Racing now!

Polar Bear Art

Tuesday, 21 October 2008 20:48 by Tamara

Because I have the best family in the world. My 9 year old niece, Kayleigh drew me this picture of a polar bear. I think it is the cutest picture ever and I thought I would share it with everyone who visits.

Another Polar Bear Challenge

Sunday, 19 October 2008 20:57 by Tamara

This is my second featured game. Created by the man behind the curtain.

In this game there are black and brown seals and you need to use your paw to catch them. Your paw will swing periodically and when the angle is right, you can press the mouse button and your paw will shoot out, if your paw hits a black or brown seal, you can take back your paw and collect the trophy. Each level has a certain target that must be met, if you cannot gain the target money within the time limit, then you lose the game.

Play Polar Bear Fishing

Go ahead have fun!

Up for the challenge!?

Sunday, 21 September 2008 22:05 by Tamara

I have an amazing game that has to be played. Specifically created just for me and this rockin' site.

Polar Bear Crossing

This is my first featured game. Created by the man behind the curtain.

This game is themed to saving the baby polar bears by crossing them over the water safely to mother bear!

I love this game and it always keeps me entertained. Try it out and see if you can beat my niece, Kayleigh's high score. :)

Go ahead have fun!

Polar Bears and Sharks don't mix.

Friday, 19 September 2008 18:52 by Tamara
"~   As if polar bears in the North Pole didn't have enough to worry about these days: Scientists have found the bone of a young bear in the stomach of a Greenland   shark, Reuters reports. The unprecedented discovery prompts a "million dollar question," says one researcher: Do the bears now have to worry about sharks as predators? It seems improbable that the sluggish shark could catch and kill a bear, but the possibility raises intriguing questions.

As polar bears lose their habitat to warming waters, researchers sculate that they will have to spend more time in the water and thus be vulnerable to sharks. Others say the bone probably came from a scavenged carcass. "The Greenland shark simply cannot afford the risk of injury nor the expenditure of energy required to kill such a large and dangerous animal,” says one expert. "There is far easier prey to be found."   ~"

I personally don't think a shark is that stupid, but you never know. It does make sense that a polar bear could get attacked by a shark. Just one more thing to add to the struggling polar bears.
